Who we are

NxtFind helps London homeowners and property owners move construction and home-improvement projects forward. It is operated by NXTFIND LTD, the controller responsible for your information. Contact us about your information at hello@nxtfind.com.

What we collect

For project enquiries, we collect your name, contact details, preferred contact method, project location and the details you provide about the work, budget, timing and planning. For contractor registrations, we collect business and contact details, services, areas covered, availability, references from past clients, links to their work and any other information you choose to share. If you use our cost calculator, we collect your project choices, postcode, email address and, if provided, your phone number, and record the estimate shown to you so we can follow up about your project. A phone number is required if you choose phone or WhatsApp contact. If you ask for our planner, we collect your email address and, where you have told us, your project type, and email the planner to you. We don’t send you marketing unless you tick the box to opt in. If you ask us to check a quote, we collect your contact details, postcode, project type, the quote totals and any quotes or drawings you email us. For partner registrations, we collect firm and contact details, what you do, the areas you cover and how you would like to work with us.

We record your contact permission and any separate marketing preference. We may also record the referring website, landing page and campaign tags so we understand how an enquiry reached us. Our hosting provider processes technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the website. Please avoid including sensitive information or other people’s details unless necessary and you have permission.

We also count starts, completions and clicks into Project Review from our planning and quote tools, and how many steps of the Project Review form people complete, so we can see where it is hard to use. These records contain a random identifier for each tool attempt and campaign labels, without your form answers, contact details or IP address. We use no cookies or browser storage for this measurement. We review and remove event records older than 90 days.

Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your request, review project or business details and, where you want us to, introduce suitable contractors. This supports the service you have asked us to provide and steps taken at your request before an agreement. We also have a legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, preventing abuse and understanding which sources generate enquiries. We balance those interests against your rights.

Service messages concern your enquiry. Optional marketing permission is separate and is not required to use NxtFind. Any marketing depends on your consent. If you opt in when requesting the planner, we may send five short project emails over about four weeks. Each includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also withdraw consent by emailing us. We keep a minimal email suppression record to honour opt-outs.

Contractor introductions and sharing

A person reviews enquiries. We contact you before making any contractor introductions and agree what relevant project and contact information can be shared with up to three suitable contractors. Your submission is not automatically distributed to contractors. We use contractor details to assess whether a project could be a suitable fit and may share relevant business information with a customer when arranging an introduction.

Contractors may give us details of past clients as references. They confirm those clients have agreed to be contacted. We use reference details only to check the quality of a contractor’s work and do not use them for marketing.

Contractors operate independently and are responsible for the information they receive. We never sell your details, and we do not scrape contact lists. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects using automated profiling.

Service providers and international processing

We use service providers for website hosting, database storage and email delivery. If you allow advertising measurement, our advertising partner receives information from its advertising tag under its own privacy terms.

Some of these providers process information in the USA. Where information leaves the UK, we rely on Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on applicable UK adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards, including the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable.. Access is limited to people and providers who need the information to operate the service. We may also disclose information where legally required.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiries while we are handling them and for a reasonable period afterwards to answer follow-up questions. Our policy is to review inactive enquiries and contractor registrations after 12 months without meaningful contact, and delete or anonymise information no longer needed. Records may be kept longer where needed for an ongoing project, an agreed business relationship, a legal obligation or resolving a dispute. This is a manual review, not an automatic deletion schedule.

Your choices and rights

Providing information is voluntary, but we need the required form details to respond and review your project. You can ask us to stop progressing your enquiry at any time.

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a portable copy of your information. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time. Email hello@nxtfind.com to exercise your rights. We may need to check your identity.

Complaints

Email hello@nxtfind.com. We aim to acknowledge your complaint promptly and to respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and browser storage

We use advertising measurement only if you allow it. When you first visit, we ask whether we can use an advertising partner’s tag. If you choose Allow, it loads and may set cookies or similar identifiers so that our advertising partner can tell us whether people who saw our ads visited or contacted us. If you choose No thanks, or don’t choose, it is not loaded.

We remember your choice in one small cookie for about six months, and only once you have made it. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Apart from that, this website does not add cookies or persistent browser storage for tracking. While you move between pages, it temporarily holds source information in the current page session so that it can accompany your enquiry. Reloading or closing the page clears that information. We do not use it to track you across websites.

We count page visits with web analytics run by our hosting provider. It does not use cookies or store anything on your device. It records the pages you view, the website that sent you, and your approximate country, browser and device type. Visits are grouped using an identifier that is discarded after a day, so we cannot follow you over time. Before anything is sent, we remove the part of the page address that could hold personal details, such as a postcode, and keep only campaign labels.
