How it works
You tell us about your project. We review the information, contact you to understand the work and may introduce up to three contractors based on the project, location and availability. A submission does not guarantee an introduction, a quote or a particular response time. We contact you before arranging introductions.
You decide whether to meet a contractor, request a quote or appoint anyone. There is no obligation to appoint a contractor through NxtFind. You can ask us to stop handling your enquiry by emailing us.
What is free and how we earn a fee
Our proposed model is a contractor success fee of 3% (our proposed launch rate) of the agreed contract sum excluding VAT, plus any variations agreed in writing if you appoint a contractor we introduced, subject to a separate written agreement with them before introduction. Our service is free to you. Contractors can register interest without making a payment. The contractor’s fee is agreed in a separate written agreement. Registering through this website does not itself agree a fee or create a payment obligation.
Professional referral commissions are currently paused. You can still register and refer clients without payment.
Free quote checks are offered while we test the service. We may stop offering them at any time; any check already requested will be completed.
Choosing a contractor
NxtFind provides introductions and does not carry out or manage construction work. Contractors are independent businesses. We’ll discuss a contractor’s suitability and explain what information is available before you decide whether to accept an introduction. An introduction is not a certification or guarantee. Your contract is with the contractor, who is responsible for the work.
Before appointing anyone, make your own checks, including relevant experience, references, insurance and qualifications. Agree the scope, price, timetable, payment terms and responsibilities directly with your chosen contractor in writing. Any construction contract is between you and that contractor.
Information you provide
Please provide accurate information, keep us informed of important changes, and only share information you have authority to provide. Contractors should accurately describe their services, availability and any insurance or accreditations. We may decline or stop handling incomplete, misleading or inappropriate enquiries.
Our responsibilities
We aim to provide our introduction service with reasonable care and skill. We cannot promise a particular project outcome, price or contractor performance, and we are not a party to your construction contract. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or takes away your statutory consumer rights.
Privacy
Our privacy notice explains how we use the information you submit, including contact permissions and contractor introductions. Marketing permission is optional and separate from handling your enquiry.
Complaints
If something about our service is not right, email hello@nxtfind.com with the details. We aim to acknowledge your complaint promptly and to respond within one month. Concerns about construction work should also be raised directly with the contractor responsible.
If your complaint is about how we handle your personal information and you’re unhappy with our response, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
These terms
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction still apply. We may update these terms for future use of the service; changes will not retrospectively alter an existing agreement.
